It All Comes Down to Love

It All Comes Down to Love

Everything that we have shared from the very first episode of the emotional debt series ties back to one thing: The love of God. God wants us whole. He wants us to be whole because being whole is essential for us to fulfill His purpose for our lives.

God can’t stand seeing us live unfulfilled lives. That is why He is very interested in healing us.

Today, I want to speak to that particular person who has gone through frustrations, addictions, abuse and the like. You need to understand that you are not listening /reading this by accident. God is expressing His love for you; He is giving you His hand to lift you out of the pits that you are in. His arms are wide open to welcome you back Home.

Many people might have written you off as an outcast saying you will never amount to anything. But God is speaking to you even now. He has never passed judgment upon you. Nobody is outside the zones of forgiveness. No matter the offense committed. As long as you turn to God and repent. There is a place for you in God.

Luke 7:36-39 reminds us of this great truth. It talks about the woman with the alabaster jar of perfume.

“When one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, he went to the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table. A woman in that town who lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house, so she came there with an alabaster jar of perfume. As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them. When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is—that she is a sinner.” (NIV)

This woman was a renowned sinner—even sinners knew her as a sinner. Probably people looked at her as the benchmark of a sinful life. But her whole life changed when she experienced the love of Jesus. Maybe she had heard Jesus share in the market that day just like you have heard him speak to you during this series on emotional debt and in response, she came to pour herself out to Him. She got a costly perfume, walked into a room full of Jewish men who by law were meant to stone her for just walking in and laying at the feet of a man, not her husband.

God is giving us the same LOVE today!

God is not against you—He is against the sin! He is a Judge, yes, but He still judges in Love.

Come back to God, like the alabaster jar woman, and lay it all down before Him—He is longing for you. Shut out all the noise and judgment from people.

May this message as we have shared it draw you to the love of God. May it cause you to shut your ears to all the judgment from men and focus on the God who loves you and is able to heal you. In case you need to talk or pray with someone. We are available. Get back to us through this website and we shall be glad to stand with you. Remember: GOD LOVES YOU. He yearns to reach out to you.
